Founded in 1898, Presswerk Krefeld (PWK) has a long lasting tradition as a leading supplier of high-tech Linkage and Suspension components for the automotive industry.
In January 2004 PWK joined MacLean-Fogg Component Solutions, one of the world’s largest privately held metal forming companies, as an independently operating legal entity. MacLean-Fogg Component Solutions, and thier parent MacLean-Fogg Company have their Headquarters in Mundelein, Illinois, USA.
Since September 2006 all activities related to the automotive Linkage and Suspension business are coordinated at Presswerk Krefeld. By providing cutting edge technology in the areas of hot forging, cold forming, plastic injection molding and machining PWK developed into a leading supplier of products for this market segment and produces high quality, safety critical components for virtually all car manufacturers worldwide.
