Saegertown Celebrates its 50th Anniversary

MacLean Saegertown will be celebrating the 50th anniversary of its existence, as well as, the 90th anniversary of its parent company, MacLean-Fogg Corporation, on July 11, 2015.

The business in Saegertown was originally established in 1965 as the Saegertown Manufacturing Company (SMC) by Mr. Chalmer Jordan. SMC was acquired by MacLean-Fogg in 2008. MacLean Saegertown is a recognized leader in manufacturing of metal components. The company is considered a leader in the production of cold-formed components and added value machining operations. MacLean Saegertown is highly diversified and serves a broad range of industries, including: automotive, underground mining, road resurfacing, hand tools, appliances, and fire-sprinkler systems. They have recently been awarded some new contracts, and expect significant growth over the coming years.

The highly skilled, motivated and competent employees of MacLean Saegertown are, without question, their most significant asset.   MacLean Saegertown is proud to say that currently, about 30% of its full-time team members have over 20 years of service with the company.  This dedication and service is the driving factor in the company’s past, present and future successes.
