Linkage and Suspension Components: OBJ Housings

OBJ Housings Key Details

The Outer Ball Joint (OBJ) Housing is a safety-critical component of the steering outer joint that transmits steering loads to the front wheels.

Depending on the application, we can offer hot forged Shaft-Housings or OBJ-housings manufactured in our patented KSG-technology as cold formed Shaft-Housings (KSG ©).  Cold formed KSG © can be delivered either as a near net-shape blank or completely finished including the thread.

If the application requires complex geometries, we offer our hot-formed Shaft-Housings which have fewer restrictions regarding the shape of the component.

Contact us to discuss how MacLean-Fogg Component Solutions can near net shape form the OBJ Housing for your next vehicle program.
