Linkage and Suspension Components: OBJ Ball Pins and SBJ Ball Pins

OBJ Ball Pins and SBJ Ball Pins Key Details

Ball Pins for Suspension Ball Joints (SBJ) and Outer Ball Joints (OBJ) are used to transfer wheel and steering loads to the chassis. They are safety-critical components that put high requirements to manufacturing capabilities and stable processes.

It is our goal to minimize material allowances for secondary machining processes. Our cold-formed Ball Pins are usually delivered to our customers including heat treatment, rolled thread roll and internal drive (e.g. hex or 6-lobe) applied.

Contact us to discuss how MacLean-Fogg Component Solutions can near net shape form the IBJ and SBJ Ball Pins for your next vehicle program.
