SBJ Housings Key Details

SBJ stands for “Suspension Ball Joint.” The SBJ Collar/Flange Housings are safety-critical components of the Suspension Joints. They transmit static vehicle loads as well as dynamic loads from the wheels to the chassis.  Depending on customer design needs, SBJ Housings can feature either a collar or a flange.

Depending on the application we can offer our customers near net-shape cold-formed Flange Housings or hot-forged Flange Housings to our customers. Features like knurls can frequently be generated during the cold forming process.
