MacLean-Fogg Company to Sponsor 2017 Clean Snowmobile Challenge
MacLean-Fogg Company is excited to announce its sponsorship of the 2017 Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) Clean Snowmobile Challenge (CSC). This collegiate design competition challenges teams to reengineer an existing snowmobile to improve environmental performance. Modified snowmobiles then compete in a variety of events including emissions, noise, fuel economy / endurance, acceleration, handling, static display, cold start and design.

Kyle Jackson, is a Tool Design Engineer for MacLean-Fogg’s Metform Division, that worked on the project as a student. He says, “During my time in the SAE Clean Snowmobile Challenge, I was able to take my knowledge beyond what is taught in just the classrooms. The competition also gives its participants experience in project and time management and helps increase teamwork skills, which better prepare them for a career after graduation.”
